S’mores

S’mores are one of the most famous, amazing, incredible desserts ever. But there are many different ways to make them: burnt, golden-brown, semi-cooked, or not cooked at all.

My favorite way to make my s’mores is golden-brown. The trick to a perfect golden-brown s’more is to cook it near the coals and away from the fire. Because the coals are warm, the heat will melt the inside of the marshmallow and turn it a nice golden-brown rather than burning it too quickly. You will know when they are ready when they swell to twice their size.  The s’mores will then turn into a gooey mess😊😜😱.

I have been making s’mores for as long as I can remember. I would make them at bonfires at the beach, or cold night in vail. They are perfect for anytime of the year.

Sometimes I replace the graham crackers and chocolate with a warm chocolate chip cookies😝.

  1. This is my favorite post so far. I love s’mores too! But sometimes I make mine without the chocolate. I know there are many who will say that is not a s’more but I think to each their own s’more. I have a question….why are they called s’mores?
